Paper Playtime #73--Anything GoesLink
Details:
This is a Kraft paper 5x7 card base. Beige music paper and white music note paper from H/L Paper Studio. Black & white Bazzil card stock. Scalloped labels cut from Lacy Labels at 4 for black and 3.75 for music paper. The piano was cut at 3 from Twinkle Toes Lite. I cut the sheet music at 1.5 in beige to stamp the sentiment on. Sentiments (inside and out) from Emma "My Teacher Rocks stamp set and black Momento ink. Finally, I put an action wobble on the piano. (I had to trim a bit of the plastic for it--did you know you could do that?)

Rolled paper Rose
I cut a circle 4" from my CM circle cutting set from the music note paper 2x and then glued the paper back to back. That way, when I cut the "spiral" from the circle to roll the flower it would be printed paper all over. Glue and roll the paper. Then I put it on a pop dot and placed on the paper.

Hello Crafty Friends and thank you for stoppping by Okscrappinmama. Boy, we had some nasty lightening and storms early this morning in the Tulsa area. Then, I couldn't go back to sleep so l will be going to sleep early tonight.

Today I made one of 4 Teacher appreciation cards. This is for my 4 yr old to take to his teachers (he has 2 and I just duplicated the cards.

Brad is from H/L Paper Studio. White eyelets and red/white gingham ribbon. Black pen to add faux stitching.

Card for Madison at Funky Cards "Feel the Love" Project

Here is a card I'm sending to the wonderful and thoughtful Madison at Funky Cards. She has a special monthly project where she finds someone who needs their spirits lifted and some love.
Stop by Madison's blog and check out what she does. She is an inspirational young woman.

This month, she found a very special little 3 1/2 yr old girl named Marley Moore. She was diagnosed in Aug. 2009 with a tumor on her brain, by her optic nerve, the size of a lemon. The surgeon was able to remove a large portion but that evening, as a result of trama to the brain for surgery, Marley suffered a stroke. That left her right side paralyzed. She, her family (and her big sister Mia) are dealing with a lot. They just within the last week found out that the tumor had grown by approx 10%. They need lots of encouragement, prayers and positive thoughts.

Please, please consider doing a quick cute card for the girls and even her parents'.

Here is my card
Marley's Card

Mia's Card (big sister)

This is a 4 x 6 card, done on the gypsy and expression.
Patterned paper is Canvas corp (pink & ivory dot, pink & ivory stripe, pink/ivory floral and pink/ivory swirl)
I used the postage stamp cut from Gypsy Wandering, sized 4x6 and duplicated, grouped & welded. The pink striped rectange mat is from Ashlyn's Alphabet, sized at 3.20x 5.40.

Cotton candy is from Carnival Lite and sized at 4". Layer 1 was white, layer 2 was pink cardstock. I then covered layer 2 with scotch quick dry adhesive and quickly poured pink MS flocking for a yummy look.
Inside the card: I cut coordinating pink pattern paper for inside of card. On the left I stamped Emma's "Inspiring Words (Accents)
On the right, I stamped Robyn's MPS "Pinka-licious"

NOTE: The Sock Monkey Card is something I made for a challenge last month and he just makes me smile and I love him so. You can get directions for him HERE

Scrapalicious USA #6 & My Creative Time #196 Card

I got the idea to do the sock monkey because the last few days my 3 yr old little guy has been carrying around a sock monkey my Mom made for him. It goes EVERYWHERE with us.
Sock monkeys have that goofy smile and Emma has the perfect sentiment stamps.
So, it all made sense to do this. LOL

Here is a last minute card I did for:
Emma's Throwback Thursday #196 (Use ANY "Cricut Lite" cartridge of YOUR choice & PLEASE incorporate some "BLING" somewhere on any project of your choice! Example, your project must have either, stickles, rhinestones, glossy accents, glitter)
AND
Scrapalicious USA #6 (June 15 is official Smile Power Day and therefore we would like to see a smiling face or smiley somewhere on your project. You can also use a sentiment that includes the word smile / smiling. )

Details:

Patterned paper from H/L The Paper Studio, Red Check is CM & all other is Bazzil.
Sock Monkey is from Lite B is for Boy.(2.5") I inked the cream rectangle in Distress Ink-Tea Dye.
Button from M's #1 bin. Twine from MS.
Stamped Sentiment is from Emma "Turn that Frown Upsdide Down"

For the "BLING" I used red MS glitter on the heart on the sock monkey and then used glossy accents. The eyes of the sock monkey I used Stickles--Black Soot.

Happy Wednesday and Cherry Card

Happy Wednesday y'all! Did any of you get the E2? I wanted it but just couldn't do it. I just got my expression for Christmas and, would feel guilty getting another machine (I already have a create too). Plus, if I spent the money then that would mean less a budget for buying carts the rest of the year. I really want a couple of the new carts--Lite Bump in the Night and Lite Beep beep.

Here is a quick card I did:

Details:
It is an A2 size card, paper(green, cherry print and pink dot) is from DCWV Nana's Nursery/Baby Girl paper pack. Cherries are from Country Life and cut at 2".
The sentiment is Emma's/My creative time "turn that frown upside down." Organza ribbon is from H/L. MS loop edge punch on the green paper. The white sentiment tag was done using a punch. Cherry and sentiment is pop dotted and I used Tim Holtz distress ink pad in Brick Red and a fantastix applicator to color the edges.
