DEETS:

This is a 5x7 premade white card base. Red mat cut at 4.75 x 6.5, black mat cut at 4 5.8 x 6 and the alphabet paper cut at 4.5 x 5.75 with the cricut. The notebook paper is from Simply Charmed at 3 . Ink cut at 2.55 and pen at 2.25 both from Locker Talk. Mailbox from Doodlecharms 1.20 (cut in grey, black and red 7 pieced together) and the mailbox post and base/grass from Jolly Holliday 3".
(I just printed 1x in brown and 1x in green and cut the mailbox off the brown for the post and the green off for the grass and glued together)

On the notebook paper, I used a blue and red pen to highlight the lines and the sentiment "Just a note and the heart on the envelope and "LOVE" stamp are all from Emma MCT "Happy Mail" stamp set. Black Momento ink. Used silver and brown pen to highlight ink well. Envelope was hand cut from white cardstock. Stamped Thank You inside the card.

M.A.G Challenge Card

This is the first time I entered a card (and at the last minute) for the M.A.G. Challenge
The challenge was to do a card from page 39 from Simply Charmed



Details:

I decided to do my card from layer 2. I used the circle (hide/contour the inside flower detail). I sized the circle at 5.5 for the card base and duplicated, grouped and welded together. That was cut in yellow gingham and then again in white cardstock. That was adhered together.

Then, I used the flower inside the circle (used hide/contour for outer circle and inside dots on the flower), I cut the flower 3 times in yellow at 3, 3.5 and 4. Then for inside circle of the flower (for stamped face) I sized the circle at 2.25.

I used Peachy Keen Stamps "snow cuties" and black ink for the face. There are popdots between top flower and 2nd flower. I inked the largest flower edges in mustard chalk ink before adhering down and assembly.

Details: 5x7 premade white card base, Paper used was WeRMemoryKeepers green dot paper from "Christmas Wrapping", cute watermelon paper (reversible to the pink gingham) from Pinkpaislee " Fruit Salad"
and red, coral, green and white Core'dinations. Ribbon from J's

PKS Princess face-- on the watermelon and Snow Cuties on the sun.
MPS sentiment--I used 2 different sentiments and just blocked off the words of what I didn't want.

Cart: Simply Charmed with watermelon & sun at 1.5".

Teacher Appreciation Card #1

Happy Monday Everyone! Here is the first of 4 Teacher Appreciation cards I must do




This card is my first every Tri-fold shutter card. I followed the directions from Mary at CardzTV's video HERE (sorry guys for not doing my own video but I'm not sure how)

My 9 yr old is giving this to her homeroom teacher too and then we are also giving her this with a gift card attached Directions on my blog are HERE

Details: I used a 12 x 6 piece of cardstock. Then did my scores at 2", 4" 8" and 10. Then did the horizontal cut from 2" to 10 " (1.5 inches from top and 1.5 inches up from bottom)
My hardest part was getting the folds to go right, just gotta be patient and work with it. I messed up 2 others on the folding before getting it right. LOL But, now they are easy peasy!

DCWV 4x6 Elementary School paper pad for all squares and rectangles, chalkboard paper from H/L. Used We R MK Crop-A-Dile to set the eyelets and the apple ribbon was from J's.

Carts Used: Simply Charmed for pencil (cut at 2) and notebook paper(cut at 2) and outlined the lines with thin blue pen.

Details: 5x7 card, plaid paper from M's, yellow/white twine, MS loop punch, white, pink, green, yellow cardstock, blue sky paper from CM, white organza ribbon from H/L, stamps from My Pink Stamper (only used "Have the Hoppiest" and blocked off the birthday word) and the word Easter was from a Studio G stamp from M's. Staz-on black dye ink.

Carts: Nate's ABC's for rabbit cut at 2.25, Give A Hoot for tree cut at 2.25, sun at 1" from Simply Charmed, scalloped circle and inner circle cut at 3 and 2.75 from Lacy Labels.

Challenge: Cricut Cardz #68

Hello! I entered the below card for the Cricut Cardz Challenge #68, that ends Tues 5th. The challenge was to create a card using any cart for a house, use a touch of lace and a flourish and to use any colors you like.

Details: 5x7 premade white card base from H/L. Bo Bunny Powder Blue back to back paper for the sky. Green sticker paper for grass from CM. Green lace for grass from H/L. All other papers are either Bazzil or from H/L.

Carts: Kates ABC's for house, Paper Pups for clouds, (using hide/contour on gypsy to cut 2x, in white, then in blue) Simply Charmed for the sun, Give a Hoot for the tree, fence from Heritage, flower tops from Walk in My Garden, Grass ?? cart (used grass for the flower petals) red bird I think was one I had laying around and cut from Winter Frolic.

For the house from Kate's, I "hid" the round window and instead cut a flourish above the door from Gypsy Wanderings. (I think, now I'm not sure LOL)

Easter card 3

Hello!

My daughter loves lots of stickles, so thought I would do this card for her.

Carts: Paper Pups for Easter Dog, Give A Hoot for bird and tree, Gypsy Wandering for grass, PDDU for clouds, Simply Charmed for the sun, Smiley cards for egg shaped card base.

Sizes: Dog at 2, saying inside card at 2, sun at 1.10, tree at 2, bird at .95, grass was at 3 and cut down.

Tools and Supplies: Gypsy, Expression, argyle paper from M's at 10 cents, stickles in yellow, glam pink, cinnamon brown, purple, black embellishment for eyes

Card Base cut from Smiley Cards at 5.5 (x2 eggs) and I used hide/contour for the face inside the egg. Then, grouped and welded the 2 together. The argyle paper was cut at 5 and a blade depth of 2. Just assembled everything, used stickles and adhered the "Yappy Easter" inside the card.

From My Kitchen and Simply Charmed cuts

On the Cricut messageboard, there is a monthly RAK cut thread where each month, you can put in 5 cut requests from a cart and someone will RAK grant your wishes. I just got From My Kitchen 2 weeks ago and wanted to try my hand at doing some cuts for someone other than myself. So, i just finished up some cuts from these 2 carts.

The apron was probably my favorite to do. Lots of layers but fun to do. Lots of color options with it. The cuts below are 3 inch and 2 1/2 inch. I probably wouldn't try below 2 inches on this one.

The rolling pin is nice and simple and at 3, 2 1/2 and 2"

The mixing bowl is at 3" and I decided to try to use fabric puffy paint. I used the heat tool over it to get it to dry quicker. It looks really cool. We'll see how the puffy paint travels in a box :)

The mixers were fun. You cannot get good clean cuts on the beaters below 2 inches though. I decided to do the beaters and the decorative stuff in silver paper. The cuts below are 3, 2 1/2 and 2.

From Simply Charmed:

Popsicles are at 3, 2 1/2 and 2 inches. The biggest one, I did at 3 1/2 inches and used the Martha dripppy goo punch. The other was at 3". FYI, you can't use the drippy goo punch on this popsicle cut and have it look good below 3". I also did some of them with peachy keen stamps. I used the snow cuties and Princess faces.

The Sun is at 3 and 2". I did a couple with the snow cuties faces and just inked the smile before putting the glasses on.

The watermelon is at 3, 2 1/2, and 2 inches. Some I just stamped the face with the PK snow cuties stamp.

St. Patricks Day Card #2

Happy Weekend everyone!

Below is a 5x7 card. The leprechaun is done at 2.5 from Simply Charmed. The paper I got from the local scrapbook store. It was really different. One side was the green plaid and the other said "lucky" I took some green paper and use the MS loop punch. Pot of gold was cut 3x, twice in black and once in gold. I just layered the gold in between the two black pieces when adhering together. Then, went over the gold textured paper in a gold sakura pen to outline the coin shapes.

Inside the card says "Happy St. Patricks Day!"
