My Favorite Tools
Thought I'd post some of my favorite tools for crafting.
I should say that I had nothing but papers, stickers, glues, cutting tools, before January 2010. I can't believe I never ventured out of my comfort zone. Then again, all I ever did was our family scrapbooks. Never "crafts."
OK, today is 6/28/2010 and guess what I bought today? A heat tool, an embossing pad and pen and a variety pack of embossing powders. Next on my list is flocking powder.
Cricut Create, although had I known I ever would have a Gypsy, I would've invested in an Expression instead.
Gypsy--what can I say...I'm in love all over again! Weld, flip, hide/contour, easy sizing of images. Able to search quickly which carts have certain images.
Cuttlebug--and embossing folders. I don't want to cut with it, just emboss. My daughter LOVES our cuttlebug! I have 20 folders. Did I mention I just got the CB in May 2010! Bad girl! LOL
Glues--Xyron X, zip glue pens in various sizes, glueglider Pro (someday I'll get an ATG) and 3D dots. Eventually I will get a bigger Xyron.
Tools--Tweezer Bee tweezers(awsome for holding small glued parts when layering), good pair of scissors, Fiskars Premium Paper Trimmer, CM personal Trimmer, cutting system, shape makers, corner rounder, CM and Stampin Up' tearing tools, Martha edgerss. Crop-a Dile for eyelets
Stamps--2 colors: Pink and Peach!! My Pink Stamper and Peachy Keen are the best! I have 2 sets of Pink Stamper and pre-ordered 3 more. PK I have critter faces medium and cat faces. I will eventually get paper doll and the animal set to go with the Animal Kingdom cart. I also have some really cool clear Fiskars stamps with sayings.
Other--Good set of pens, stickles stICKLEs STICKLES!!, glitter, ribbon, some stickers, eyelets/brads, flowers. Lots of cute papers for cards.
I vow right now to buy no new papers...unless REALLY CUTE! :) I need to use up what I have and also use my scraps up.

You have an excellent selection of tools! Of all the many crafting tools I own, my favorites are my Cricut Expression, Cuttlebug and Scor-Pal! I don't use the Gypsy too much (yet), but I am so glad I have it. (The screen isn't user friendly to my aging eyeballs!)

I have no tools! All I do is go out, buy paper and stickers, take pictures, and look at pretty Scrapbook, Etc magazines wishing I had tools.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you suggest for cutting out large titles? That's what I'm in the market for right now. =)
