Card for Paper Playtime #71

Good Evening Everyone! Sitting here watching American Idol and downloading a challenge card.
I'm watching my favorite contestant now on AI--Philip Phillips.

This is the first time I've entered a card for Paper Playtime #71 April Showers, use an umbrella.

DETAILS:

This is a 5 x 6.5 premade kraft card base. I rounded the corners with a CM corner rounder. The papers are all coordinating from 3 Bugs in a Rug "April Showers. I used 3 different ones (front and back). I just LOVED the bright Springy/rainbow colors. I thought it appropriate to have an umbrella to also use the rainboot paper. I pop dotted the mats under the umbrella for some depth.

The cloud is cut out of another cloud paper I had and then pop dotted. I pop dotted it for some depth. The sun has a face stamped with Peachy Keen stamps Wide Eyed Kids. The loop border on the front is a MS punch.
Inside sentiment from Emma/My Creative Time "Turn that Frown Upside Down."
Sentiment inside card is computer generated.

CARTS USED:

The center mats are cut using Lacy labels at 2.95 x3.75 and 2.50 x 3.15. Umbrella is Create a Critter at 2.10 x 1.85. Sun was cut at 1.25 from Simply Charmed. Inside of card was just cut with the cutter and the MS loop punch.

Thanks for Looking!

Cooking With Cricut Challenge #40

Happy almost 4th of July everyone. I can still hear fireworks going off in my neighborhood. I'm up late...or early...however you want to look at it. LOL It's almost 1:20 AM on Sunday morning.

Here is a card I did for Cooking With Cricut Challenge #40 Project must include a cow or be black and white with only a small amount of a third color.

Ok, so I have more than a 3rd color but I just couldn't do a card with this cute cow in only black, white and pink.
It just needed more color. I've always wanted to do this card--I luv chocolate milk!!... if the card works for the challenge Yippee Skippy, if not...maybe my card will still be enjoyed and used. LOL

Detail
s: Cart is CAC for cow and milk bottle. Bottle is at 5" and welded together with the gypsy. I cut one extra side of the blue bottle so I could sandwich the straw in between the card base and that extra layer to hide the straw from behind. Cow was cut at 2". Sentiment was from MPS Punny-licious ("You're a" and "Moo-velous") then I used MPS Family & Friends ("friend!" but I just didn't ink the girl in the word girlfriend)

Birthday card For Birthday Sundaes Challenge Blog #14

Hello Crafters! This is a birthday card I'm submitting for the Birthday Sundaes Challenge #14 --to create a shaped birthday card {no squares/rectangles allowed} and include birthday wording/sentiment on your card front.

Details: Frog is from CAC and at 5.25, Lily pad from CAC at 5. Flower from Kate's ABC's at 1"
Paper from various stashes--green dot for frog is KC & Co, lily pad paper (stripe) is BoBunny. All others is probably DCWV or Core'dinations.

Sentiment is from MPS--"Buggy Punnies" and Staz-On chocolate dye ink

How did I do it?: With my gypsy, I took the frog that should be the base (black) and duplicated and then welded at the top/eyes. Then the green dot was at 5.25. Then on layer 2 on my gypsy I took the layer 1 on the frog and the lily pad and welded the feet of the frog to the lily pad. That was cut in an avocado green (won't be visible anyway cause everything else gets glued on top. Then, created another lily pad and cut that in the green stripe (and glued on top)
